Summer Registration
Proctor Fast Pitch, or PAYSA, is a part of the Arrowhead Fastpitch league and we encourage teams to go to at least couple tournaments each season. (U8 might not have any tournaments for their level of play).
Ages
We offer registrations for players from kindergarten through 12th grade for our area (Proctor). This season, we are going by birthday, not by current grade. We are expecting not many girls will be moving up to the next level due to the national change in birthdates. The birthdates that will move up are the girls that have a late summer birthdate and waited a year to start school. One way to determine what level your daughter is playing at is to ask, "how old was your daughter on August 31st?"
When
U8, U10, and U12 run from May to mid-July.
U14 and U16 would run from June through late July.
Where
Practices and Games will be at Egerdahl dirt fields, with some practices up at Munger Field/Solway Township.
Practices
U8 and U10 will have at least one practice per week, U12 and older girls will typically practice twice a week.
Games
One game night, U10 and older have double headers.
Jerseys
Jerseys are included in the registration costs.
Extra Costs
Competitive Teams could incur extra fees. These fees will be collected after tryouts, and dependent on which tournaments the teams are going to attend.
Tryouts
We will hold tryouts on March 15th.
(We will send information out in email through Crossbar to the age groups that would have tryouts.)

For the 2026 Summer Ball season, USSSA is changing their birth years to follow as September to August, and not the January to December as it is now.

Our teams are "even" age groups, U8, U10, U12, U14. If you're player is in an "odd" age group like U9, U11, U13, move up to the next even age level.
*Note: With the change in age requirements at each level, the players will probably be in the same age group as last year.
Summer Ball 2026
**UPDATE**
Per USSSA (Arrowhead Fastpitch League/Tournaments) are following NEW birth dates for each level. This change would been that the girls are playing more by grade, and many of our girls will stay at the same level of play this year.

U12-$250

Registration also includes tournament fees for teams.
Competitive Teams may have an extra fee with the team for tournaments, that is not included in the above registration fees.
Rail Rumble is scheduled for May 29-31 (Proctor's graduation weekend). U10 and U12 teams are already registered.
Other tournament dates will come out shortly for teams after teams are registered with the league.
Season Dates
U8, U10, U12 all start games the week of May 18th.
U8 Games are on Monday nights, except for Memorial Day, this week, the game is on Thursday night. July 4th affects this age group, where they are slated to play 7-6-2026.
U10 Games are Wednesday nights.
U12 Games are Tuesday nights.
U14 Games are Wednesday nights and some Thursday nights, playing in Wade/Wheeler fields.
U16 Games are Monday and Tuesday nights at Wade/Wheeler fields.
All of the U8, U10 and U12 home games are at Egerdahl Fields.
U8, U10, and U12 start playoffs in mid-July.

We are still waiting for exact dates for tournaments at this time, for all levels of play.
Season Info
Proctor Fast Pitch is also known as "Proctor Area Youth Softball Association", or PAYSA. This program is for young ladies who are living in Proctor's school district or plan to attend Proctor High School. Exceptions would need to be approved by the PAYSA Board.
We would also like to encourage families to pick one summer ball program. The Board has the right to deny registrations for those who are "dual rostered" (Playing for more than one program is considered "dual rostered").
